Obviously you don't have to go through this company, but it's worth a look at their blog at least.Cynthiahttp://www.SteadfastHomeInventory.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847873995709228069.post-14552568415020281592011-04-21T18:42:26.329-06:002011-04-21T18:42:26.329-06:00My scrapbooks. She actually gave it to my (boyfriend) without telling me, then when she passed, in her will it was left to me, but nobody could tell me where it was. I thought it was gone forever. Amazingly, 4 months later when my husband proposed, he opened the ring box and there was my grandmothers ring! You wouldn't believe how much that meant to me.Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288741089890910610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847873995709228069.post-28199972424321975422011-04-21T07:12:30.355-06:002011-04-21T07:12:30.355-06:00As a fellow MilSpouse, and knowing how the Army wo...As a fellow MilSpouse, and knowing how the Army works it's magical ways, I would totally take pictures of all of his TA50, and Class A's, and all the little whatnot's that don't seem like much but that add up to be Eleventy Billion dollars when you try to replace them.

Glad that you have some furniture to sit on now, and I must say... I think the biggest thing that I would put on my list would be the hope chest in our dining room. It was a gift to my mom when she got married and she has since given it to me. Nothing inside of it could be replaced if it were destroyed (kids school papers and projects) and I doubt I could get another one like it, but I could maybe at least get one of the same quality. That's really hard to think about though. Losing so many things.Jessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04536607888498028285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7847873995709228069.post-54071373319415908722011-04-20T13:35:36.056-06:002011-04-20T13:35:36.056-06:00Oh my goodness. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to home inventory! I have been making random lists of everything we own! If I only had a phone for the app, I'd be all over it. I also didn't know you needed pictures of everything... Let me get going! Oddly enough, the first thing would probably be our pottery barn lawn chairs! Awkward I know, but they were expensive and I like them more than our regular furniture, haha!

Thanks for all the information. I definitely have some research to do!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
