They had tents setup, and inside they had one of those giant video screens and were tracking the flight.
The guys getting off the plane. They still had to turn in their weapons, etc. We didn't see Gunner, but they were having some technical difficulties.
After the guys got off the plane and they showed it, we went outside and waited, and waited, and waited some more. One of my students and her mom came to take pictures and welcome him home too. They had fire engines at the end of the road, and as the buses came through, they shot water over the buses. They also do this when the planes come in at DFW.

Oh ! I'm so happy for you! My husband just returned after his first deployment. I really could have used at the time other Army wives to blog with at the time, but I'm happy I stubbled upon yours today! I'm happy for his safe return!
