Abs got a good night sleep last night. Thank goodness. Maybe it had something to do with what she wore?
Three pairs of tights.
One pair of socks.
Three pairs of underwear.
1 bathing suit
Two tshirts.
Hey, if it works, she can wear as much as she wants, it's not like I don't do laundry all day every day.
Found a place for swim lessons for the kiddos.
Went to The Displaced Dutchican's dentist today and loved him! I get to go back next Thursday too. Good thing I like them so much.
It's hailing....again....
I asked Ab's teacher about coming to observe and she told me I had to go through the principal. That sounds insane to me, but I will do it, and just observe more than originally planned. She is begging to go back to Montessori, so I need to figure out what is going on. They did lose two students, so they are down to 28 students...for now!
I went to the Arc today. I need to stay away. I found the cutest creamer though....some books I NEEDED....a few odds and ends I couldn't live without and a small table for all my school books this semester and all the semesters to come since I can't seem to stop attending school.

Ah, the Montessori transition. Always fun. I liken it to starting on candy and moving to vegetables. While Montessori has great motor and life skill activities, and the kids do learn a lot, the "freedom" of it all makes it hard when going back to the regular classroom. I can easily tell which kids come from the big M. They tell me they are bored, they stop doing things and walk around, etc. But vegetables are good for you right? So eventually it settles down and they learn to find joy in things like centers, and understand that things like writing are just part of their job. Give it a bit! It should even out soon.
I am so glad you liked the dentist! Did you know (or did I tell you?) that D-11 has a public Montessori school?
I need a dentist! Email me his contact info, ok? :)
