Blizzard Blog Hop!

Hi!  My name is Army Blogger Wife, and I have been married for 16 years to Gunner, who is active duty Army. We have three kiddos, Em, Abs, and Junior, who keep me on my toes and provide plenty of blogging fodder.

We are currently stationed at Fort Carson, CO, and not snowed in.....yet.

I love triathlons, crossfit, swimming, reading, and reality tv.  All more than I probably should.

Gunner is currently deployed to Afghanistan for a year, and has previously done three year long tours in Iraq, and one in Bosnia.

We are currently on the cusp of retirement, and some days I think it can't come soon enough, and other days I realize how much I will miss this lifestyle, although not the deployments.

I love homecomings.

I am currently hosting a great giveaway that you should enter!

Make sure and leave a comment so that I can visit your blog too!

What a sweet sweet family! And what a blessing - to live in Colorado and NOT be snowed in! :)

Hi, I'm from the blog hop! LOVED being stationed at Ft Carson, in fact we are still in CO after my husband's ETS. Good luck with the retirement...I miss it terribly some days & my husband was only in for 4 years.

HI! This is an amazing blog. I just got mine started and I think I can definitely learn a lot from you! Marine wife here, husband in Afghanistan for 9 months - while we are living in Japan. So what will be next after your hubby retires? We love the military life too but definitely day dream on a regular basis about what a "normal" life might be like - haha! I'm not sure there is one but for right now we'll just day dream that there is!

Triathlons! That is awesome - I'm not much of a swimmer so for now I'll stick w. my road races - but the tri's sure do look like lots of fun!
