Tactical Questioning

DH attended a tactical questioning class today. Tactical questioning is "a compilation of tools to help all soldiers collect information through questioning and detainee handling." He really enjoyed the class and thought that it would have been useful to have had it before the last two deployments. Apparently the last time he was over there the usual responses from the Iraqi people were "no Ali Baba, we saw nothing, we hear nothing, we love Americans."

Although I doubt one class will give them the knowledge to get an abundance of information it is nice to see that the Army is moving in the right direction to get all Soldiers the training they need before deployment. When DH deployed the first time we had just PCSed to Hood and he had no training specific to Iraq before he left. He feels this time they are more adequately preparing the Soldiers for deployment. Thank goodness!
