Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny stopped by for a visit early this morning. He probably ran into the Tooth Fairy while he was here.

Junior woke up with 102.1 fever so we managed to get into the weekend clinic and he has a double ear infection. Ugh. At least he is on antibiotics now so hopefully he will be back in fighting form tomorrow.

The girls and Junior each got a chocolate bunny. I told them that they could have a little bit, but they could not eat the entire rabbit. Here's a picture of what Abs left. Next time I will be more specific.

My friend Krista called me and told me about a super easy way to dye easter eggs! Thanks Krista! All you had to do was put the eggs in a colander. Then pour vinegar over them, then put dots of food coloring, then run them under cold water. The girls loved it and anything almost mess free is good for me!

Now it's time for ham, mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. Yum.
Happy Easter Gunner!

Hardboiled, shelled or not? Sounds like a good solution although we have used onion peal, carrot tops and other such things you have around the house. Or maybe not with kids, they don't eat vegetables very well.

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL! Your story and children were a delight to me today. Justin is in NY with his dad, so I am living through others who shared this day with their children, and the easter bunny!! Abs is priceless!! I love her style! :)

What a cool idea for dying! With 6 kids, mess free is great! My almost two year old was grabbing the eggs out of the dye with his little hands, we was purple on one hand and green-blue on the other! Too funny, then I had to clorox the counter top! Sigh.

I'll have to remember that for next year that sounds like an easy way to do it! I hope Junior feels better!

Oh my stars, Junior is such a cutie! I boycotted dyeing eggs this year, but I'm going to remember this for next time!
