Did you know???

That a roll of toilet paper will hold up to half of a container of windex? Abs does now.

We called Gunner's laptop tonight and figured out how to use the telephone feature. Is Skype any better? It really wasn't a bad connection, and since the phones were locked up because people couldn't clean up after themselves, it was better than nothing. We spent the first two deployments with little to no contact, so we are enjoying all the communication this time.

I went to the gym this afternoon and I was glad to be back. It had been a while, but I am back on the bandwagon. I'll need to be in shape to keep up with all my plans!

Pizza for dinner tonight...Papa Murphy's.....yummmmmm......

We've had some really good calls and video calls via Skype. Sometimes the connection is too lousy for video, but the other times it's perfect. We only have iChat (mac) to compare too, and it was much more consistent than that program.
that reminds me... I think I'm calling Guido for pizza, almost forgot.

half a container of windex -who knew!!!! that Abs of yours has an inquiring mind - likely to be a scientist.

When my husband was on his way out we were able to try the calling feature on yahoo messenger. I was impressed. He said it worked best for him with a headset for some reason. That was the only one we tried tough. We had used the webcam part a lot. Even when he didn't have one on mwr computers so we couldn't see him, he would open ours up to see his kiddos.

My brother, who is stationed at Kadena AFB, calls me occasionally using Skype. It's been pretty good except I can hear myself sometimes. It's an awesome deal though - can't beat it! Glad you were able to talk!
