Sorry to hear those news. It was the same for us. When we PCSed we knew he would deploy within a year. He just left this morning. Ugh. It seems your husband just come home ... it just sucks.
Here we go again, glad we have a good supply of "Flat Rate Boxes" remaining from previous tours. I knew that when he was sent to CO, Afghanistan was next as they have similar geography.
I honestly don't know how you do it. You seem... I was going to say upbeat but that's not right... let's go with resigned. I'm not sure I could be, considering it seems like he just got home.
I'm glad you're going to stick with the blogging. I hope it helps.
The snowman is so cute! I wish I could see and play in some snow! I pray your hubby is safe while he's away and I pray you can soak up this time prior to his deployment. I know from personal experience whether it's one , two, or etc. deployments never get easier. Will be thinking of you and your family.
I hope you don't mind a new reader :) My husband is almost done with his 2nd deployment and I already know #3 could happen sooner than I would like. Such is life as a military family these days...
We have survived four year long deployments--one to Bosnia and three to Iraq. We have been married for almost 17 years and have three children--Em, Abs, and Junior. Gunner is currently deployed for the 5th time to Afghanistan. We are fast approaching the year mark, and then we will focus on the prize--retirement!

WHAT?!?!?! That is ridiculous!!! This makes how many?
Hasn't your husband been deployed...like...20 times?! Sheesh...give the guy a break!
A year in Bosnia, three years in Iraq, and now another year or so in Afghanistan. This will make his 5th year long deployment. He's worth the wait.
Boo. Its good ya'll are so solid together.

I swear... you have the cutest kids!
I'll just think of you all when I start to feel jaded by the deployment schedules. Your attitude brings me great encouragement!

Ugh is right. I'm sorry to hear you have to endure another deployment, but your attitude is inspiring, especially for newbies like me.
He has certainly made the most of his time at home. His bonding with the children is admirable!
