I want to thank you for the hope that you had for my nephew. We were also hoping for a better outcome, but it wasn't meant to be. We try to remain optomistic to the very end, don't we? But then reality hits us right in the face. I pray that all of you will not have to endure such a tragedy, no matter where it happens. Bless all of you....
We have survived four year long deployments--one to Bosnia and three to Iraq. We have been married for almost 17 years and have three children--Em, Abs, and Junior. Gunner is currently deployed for the 5th time to Afghanistan. We are fast approaching the year mark, and then we will focus on the prize--retirement!

Just sad isn't it . . . so sad and not the outcome that I expected.
I kept thinking that he would finish the course and wonder what all the people were doing out there. Guess I am forever the optomist.
