Drowning

I went from overwhelmed, to drowning. And fast. I have so many things to get accomplished this weekend, in addition to picking up Em from camp, getting Junior to the doctor for another ear infection, taking the kids to the Mayborn museum, picking up a prescription and getting it filled, cleaning, eating, taking care of kids and more. Where's Gunner when I need him?

My inlaws have booked a bowling party at the bowling alley for Junior. Then they call to tell me that I am supposed to have 10 children come. I don't even know 10 children to invite. I guess my three take care of a third of it, but still. Anyone want to go bowling? I don't want him to have any presents, so the whole idea that a 2 year old needs a party is ridiculous to me. I'd be happy having cake and ice cream at the house. Ugh. Where's Gunner when I need him????

My computer is acting up and won't install word 2007 and I can't figure out what the problem is. It would make my life so much easier if I could get it on there and do my homework quickly instead of fighting with the stupid computer all the time. I wish I had time to take it in, but I don't even have time for that. Maybe I can find someone that makes housecalls or something. Where's Gunner when I need him?

Off to lab......

If you really need friends for bowling, I'm sure my kids would enjoy it. Let me know if you're serious and when the party is (our week is busy, but we might have time). And we could provide a good distraction for your mother in law. :) I'm a really mean Mama, so your mother-in-law could be aghast at how strict I am, and maybe she'll leave you alone when you discipline your kids (ha!)

Does your computer pop up an error for the installation? If so, what is it? My hubby is a computer genius and might be able to tell us something verbally. Don't know if he'll have time to look at it, though, cause he's leaving really soon.

Hay, I have 6 kiddos for a few more days. Then I go down to only one. Do you think one woman walking in with 6 kids will shock the inlaws into being quiet for the day for ya?

Wow, sounds so busy.
Lock yourself in the bathroom and just breathe slowly in and out. Ahh, better?
Try open office like Uncle Dan said, it's pretty good.
I'm with you on the 2-year old birthday thing. Silly.
Take care and try and keep your head above water. You're doing great.

In the immortal words of Dory, a blue fish with Ellen Degeneres' voice: "just keep swimming, just keep swimming, what do we do, we swim, swim, swim...:

Hoping that things are at the very least feeling a bit more manageable this next week. And in case no one has said it today: I am thankful for the service of your husband and thereby your family to this great country. God bless each of you.

How are ya doing? Do you have a breath yet?? I am pretty sure that Delanie and I will make an apperance at the party. The doc's seem to think that she will feel better the afternoon of the surgery. Do you need help with the kids? Do you want/need me to help you in any way? I will, just ask. This isn't one of those 'i'll say i'll help but then not really'. I truly mean it, just let me know. Plus, our guys are there together and we have to be able to gossip at some point!!!!
