Well being that where military my best tip was to utilize the military discounts and we chose to stay at Shades of Green since it considered a Deluxe Disney Resort but you paying the Value Price. We ate outside of the Disney Grounds on International Drive to save money at the buffets which by the way many of them offered disocunts. In the parks we just paced ourselves and utilized the fastpass alot.
Don't forget Seaworld is still free to to military and there families so maybe you can sneak a visit in there (if you have not visited already).
I posted a few pics of my visit at Shades of Green here http://www.armywife101.com/2009/07/shades-of-green-military-resort-review.html and you can also learn more at allears.net

oh we are disney freaks! email if you have any specific questions. And I have a giant book if you want me to send it out, I think its doing disney with kids or soemthing like that.

stay on property its so much easier, bang for your buck and quality you CAN NOT BEAT shades of green. FANTASTIC. make sure to get the park hopper option, it makes all the difference. Eat a lighter lunch and then have an early dinner. Don't push your kids too hard {boy will that backfire}, don't rent a stroller, make your priority seating as soon as possibe, and let them know about all allergy or food issues. They are wonderful about catering to your kids needs. One place we ate had a grilled cheese sandwich specially made on bread brought in JUST FOR dash1.

hmmm what else......

really anything just let me know

If you are going to Animal kingdom, go as soon as it opens and go straight to the safari. They sedate the animals around mid day so they are only active in the mornings and the lines get super long super fast. Use the parades as a chance to rest. You are allowed to take in water and food so we made up PB&J sandwiches and took snack sized bags of chips and went to the parade routes early. WE picked a spot, sat and ate while we waited for the parade to start. It is a good time to just sit and re-energize in the middle of the day. But like I said, you can take food in with you so be smart and pack lunch and snacks.

We just went in November with a bunch of family so if you have any kind of specific question, feel free to ask. mcfrlndsgirl@gmail.com
