Happy Birthday???

I love my birthday.  I don't need to have a big deal made, I don't need a gigantic party.

I enjoy spending the day doing what I want, where I want, and when I want.  (Well after carting kids around)

Gunner's gone most of the time, and that's okay too.  Sure I would much rather have him home, but it's not the end of the world, and I know it's at least one day during deployments that I am assured a phone call.

I'm thinking I will start the day with carting kids, followed by a trip to the gym.  I have a laser appointment for the afternoon, and maybe I can fit in a pedicure, or at least a nap and read a little bit.

I know my kids love me, my husband loves me, my family loves me. What more could I want?

Maybe I'll find a cupcake place and get cupcakes for after dinner, which I have already decided will be lambchops, and maybe artichokes?

What's your favorite birthday tradition while your husband is gone?

Happy Birthday! That sounds like a nice day. At least the lampchops and cupcake part. And the pedicure.

I've been lucky enough that my husband has been with me for all my birthdays. I'm thinking if he ever isn't my plan is a cupcake, nice dinner out with my family, and watching a movie that is really funny. That's what I like to do on my birthday anyway.

OccDoc has missed my last 5 birthdays, so I'm not sure I want him around for the next 5 because I have some much fun by myself. I lay around in PJs, eat ice cream, take a nap, get a massage, and finish the night off with a hot bubble bath!

Happy Birthday! A few weeks ago for my mom's birthday, my husband and I picked up a bunch of cupcakes from Wal-Mart for everyone to eat, she really liked that.

It was certainly interesting for me to read the post. Thanx for it. I like such themes and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon.

I love cupcakes! So definitely yes to those :)

I'm turning another year older pretty soon and since mister is away I plan on watching the Vikings game and then going out with the girls on the weekend.
