I love it!!!! I hope you know just how much the sacrifice you and your family are making means to me....My niece also served in Iraq in the very early days.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I am so glad I came over. Thank you so much for the sacrifice your family is making for our country.
Reading your posts, it kinda puts my life in perspective.
I read the post about the soldier needing mail. I can't email from this computer, but if you are still looking for someone, please come back over to my blog. I would love to help in any way.
This is neat. I'm glad Gunner hasn't lost his sense of humor either. I'll bet he likes reading your blog. I was in the Army five years, eight weeks basic training at Fort Hood and the rest at Fort Bliss. At times I lost my sense of humor and I was not even deployed. .. Oh yes, we had four kids born in those five years, two were twins. ..
We have survived four year long deployments--one to Bosnia and three to Iraq. We have been married for almost 17 years and have three children--Em, Abs, and Junior. Gunner is currently deployed for the 5th time to Afghanistan. We are fast approaching the year mark, and then we will focus on the prize--retirement!

It is nice to smiles, I know it must be tough... great shots!
hahaha. it's great that they thought of doing the second shot like so. :)it really loks as though he's holding those swords.

My son is in Iraq for his 4th tour now. He enjoys his work immensely and would agree, a sense of humor is an asset over there!
those are great shots! hope that his humor is serving him well over there. your family will be in my thoughts and prayers!
Great pictures. Looks like he's having his own parade or ceremony. Hope he comes home soon.
sense of humor=sanity?
