My scooba battery died. I love the thing, but I guess I missed the fine print that says if you don't use it for more than two weeks disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. I wish I had known that before we went to DC! I ordered a replacement and it arrived today!! So my scooba is doing it's job and I am free from mopping the floor again. Thank goodness!

Batteries don't go out on mop's, young lady.
Only in the movies does the mop run itself. I defend our use of the Scooba!
I didn't read the fine print either and think they should have made the information a little more prominent. Of course then they couldn't sell as many batteries!
I was wondering if those things really worked! I HATE mopping but with 3 kids, 4 and under it's what needs to be done the most. I definately want to invest in one. I say "invest" because it would be an investment in keeping my sanity because our kitchen floor stresses me out! It's never clean for more than a couple of hrs.
I think it saves my sanity! I use it at least once a day, mainly on the dining room floor. Since Junior loves to throw food down, it is easy to sweep up the mess and then scooba at the end of the day. It's not perfect by any means, but it does work well so it alleviates some of the stress off of me! Good luck!
It doesn't recharge? Gah...
