AAA

Went to the doctor to find out I am not dying, even if I do feel like I am. That's reassuring.

I've needed an oil change for a week or two, but never had the time. So today I am driving home and the check tire light came on. I get home and the tire is almost flat. I call AAA and they are sending someone to change it. Could I change it? Yes. Do I want to? Heck no!

So I called Toyota and told them I needed to take my car in on Monday if they were open. They are. Good. So I asked about the 60K checkup and he gave me a price. Ouch, but needs to be done. He then tells me it takes 4 1/2 hours and I need to be there at 7:30 am. We are going in our pajamas. I told him that I hope he liked kids cause I had three of them coming along with me. He told me that they have a shuttle that will take us home and then pick us up when the car is ready. That's nice. Whew.

That huge basket of snacks that they have in the waiting room would have been eaten in the first hour by Junior.

Now to search online for what kind of tires to buy. Any suggestions? (and NOT goodyear!)

Mike likes Cooper tires.

B swung by the dealership yesterday afternoon to have her tire filled up with air. As she was leaving, the technicians waved her down.........to ask for her phone number! I'll tell you the same thing I told her....DO NOT give your phone number to strange young men!

I love Big O. They have always been so helpful to me and never tried to milk me for more money (which I have experienced before) and their tires come with a lifetime of the tire warranty. Which is I forget how long. Services include if you buy their tires: free flat fix, free balance and rotation, and can stop by anytime and they will check the air pressure and air them up if needed. Also most offer a military discount. What I do is call them to find out the price and this last time the guy quoted me a price $250 less than what it should have been so they honored the lesser price. And if you can find a better deal at any other tire place they will match or beat it!

Discount tire should already have the car on record. That’s were i had the first flat fixed. I would go with Michelin also since that is what the spar is.
